Meadow plantings and other naturalized landscapes are intended to capture nature’s seeming randomness. Yet these plantings require a great deal of planning and pose some interesting design considerations. The talk will address topics such as scale, setting, proximity to visitors, pathways, edges, seating, signs, standards of care, the dormant season, and more.
Note: This session focuses on form and setting, not individual plant selections or plant groupings.
