Site Preparation for Landscape Transformation (Introduction)

Date:

12:30pm to 2:00pm

Are you thinking about reducing a lawn, eliminating a veggie garden, cleaning up a weedy patch, or turning a perennial bed into a flowering meadow? Good site preparation is critical. Unfortunately, this important step is often given short shrift in the drive to transform an old landscape into something new. Let’s look at ways to analyze past land uses, anticipate how they affect future plantings, compare removal methods, look at realistic timelines for site transformations, and consider what it takes to thoroughly prepare a site. An extensive handout is included.

This introductory session is sponsored by the Easton Garden Club at the Easton Library. Free and open to the public.
