Let's consider the design challenges posed by the foundation area around homes and other buildings, and then examine native plants that fit into this highly visible setting. Among regional native plants, there are flowering perennials, shrubs, grasses, trees, and ferns that provide habitat for birds and pollinators while also providing a pleasing appearance. Design resources and plant lists accompany this talk.
