Kill Your Weeds: Hacks and Shortcuts for Managing Unwanted Plants

 

Might we use plants to defeat unwanted plants? This talk examines approaches such as smothering weeds with dead plant material, strategic cutting, competitive exclusion, allelopathy, and more. We'll discuss how plants compete for space and ways to exploit those strategies. We'll also discuss the roles of planning and timing. Handout included.
