Meadows are ecologically important spaces that offer abundant landscape beauty. Meadow-making differs from other forms of horticulture, however. In this three-hour seminar, we will discuss different meadow design and development styles. Topics include site selection, site design, plant selection, planting, and what to expect in years 1, 2, and 3.
This program is appropriate for all learning levels, and an extensive handout is included. Register for Meadows 1-2-3.
* Note: Meadow site preparation is covered the previous day during Site Preparation for Landscape Transformation, Saturday, September 30, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Sponsored by Native Plant Trust and Polly Hill Arboretum.
