Let's take a look at our landscapes from the other side of the rake and clippers.
Professional landscapers work on lots of different properties, all with different conditions and different plants. Garden center owners meet the public every day as people shop for plants and related products.
What do they learn with that experience--and what do they wish more home gardeners understood? In this one-hour talk, we'll make a brief visit to their world. Listen as professional landscapers and garden center owners describe common beliefs and practices they encounter among landowners--and that they wish would go away. Learn what the landscape industry thinks about itself and its future. We'll also take a peek at land care trends and technology on the horizon.
Be prepared for some laughs and perhaps a bit of controversy.
Sponsored by the Duck River Garden Club. Presentation at the Old Lyme Town Hall, off of I-95 North or South at Exit 70.
