Deer in the Garden: Designs for Coexistence

Tuesday, July 11, 2017 -
11:00am to 12:00pm
Would you like to take your landscape off the menu at the Deer Cafe?
There is no such thing as a deer-proof landscape, but some come close. In this seminar, designer Kathy Connolly will present ideas to help your yard, garden and community become “Deer Survivors.” Kathy will explore the three sets of "tools" the home gardener can use, including plant lists, physical barriers, and products that repel. The presentation will also explore the psychology and biology of the deer, providing insight into some of the creature's behaviors. Helpful resource sheets will be available for participants.
Sponsored by Lyme Garden Club, Lyme, CT. Held at LYME FIRE STATION: 213 HAMBURG ROAD (ROUTE 156 ) LYME, CT.
